Nutrition IS a Science
This is hardly news for any dietitian, but it’s a no-nonsense summary straight from the horse’s mouth, and it offers encouragement for the future of medical education. It’s good to hear the creative ways RDs are instructing med students and practicing physicians. Let’s hope more schools get on board and exceed the minimum requirements for nutrition courses.
Are You a List-Maker?
It’s fascinates me to read about behavior related to food and food choices. Go figure, right? If you’re nearly as curious as I am, take a look at this recent info on how many of us grocery shop using a list, and other interesting tidbits.

The kids menu at most restaurants could use some updating. Perhaps Mrs. Obama’s plea will be heard. Enough with chicken fingers and grilled cheese! In the Washington area and other places on the East Coast, the Silver Diner is a step ahead of many other restaurants.
