by Stacey Viera

Strawberry Balsamic Pork Chops

Print recipe

Ingredients

  • pork chops (boneless)
  • strawberries (hulled and halved)
  • packet balsamic vinegar
  • apple cider vinegar
  • olive oil
  • kosher salt

Directions

Step 1
Wash and pat dry pork chops. Salt both sides. Set aside.
Step 2
In a container, macerate strawberries with roughly 2 parts balsamic vinegar, 1 part apple cider vinegar and 2 parts olive oil. Alter quantities of each ingredient to taste.
Step 3
Add pork chops to container and coat with strawberry-vinegar mixture. Marinate or use immediately.
Step 4
Heat oil (I used grapeseed) in a pan on medium heat and cook pork chops and marinade about 4 minutes on each side. Remove pork chops from pan.
Step 5
Add a small amount of water to the pan and deglaze on medium heat to make a jus. Spoon jus over cooked pork chops and serve.
